Interactive Literature is a unique language learning resource that bridges the gap between classroom practice and the development of English language skills by individual students. Aimed at intermediate levels and above, this book is a wonderful journey through the world of English and American literature.

This book has been inspired by the challenges every teacher of English as a second language faces – motivating students and finding interesting ways for them to interact. It is packed full of exercises that have been tried and tested in the classroom and, crucially, with student input.

This journey begins with the legend of King Arthur and the old English of Chaucer and ends with 20th Century greats such as Laurie Lee and J.R.R. Tolkien.

Adriana Beletic (aka Kia Kinsly aka Faith Goodwill) has been a teacher of English as a foreign language for more than 30 years, teaching mainly secondary school and college students. Based at the Faculty of Educational Sciences in Pula, Croatia, Adriana began writing Interactive Literature out of frustration at the lack of materials available to help teach English and American literature.  Over the years she has won plaudits from presenting materials from the book and the methodology behind them at numerous IATEFL conferences. The format of this book has been motivated by a teacher’s passion to intrigue, amuse and inspire students to appreciate great literature.
